This was an experiment I directed/edited over the course of 2007-2008. It ended up being quite an undertaking.
In the film, almost 100 actors appear. They all came to casting calls that we had organized and scheduled in order to be filmed for our school's casting archive.
They all received the same script, and the shooting conditions weren't exactly what most of them were expecting. During this process, we shot over 34 hours of footage. The actors were largely unaware of what the final product would be, which I suppose is another layer of the fun.
Sadly, the nature of the compressed video doesn't represent the finely tuned camerawork, which was incredibly well executed under wacky shooting conditions. Alex Sablow and his camera team did a great job, and the version represented here is a little desaturated by comparison of the final product.
