I wrote, directed, and created the music for this. Special thanks to Julie Noyes for acting as Faith, and my dad, Ken Meadows, for acting as Faith's father.

It's better when I could see it acted out. I did not understand that at all as a script. I think this is my favorite video that you've done so far.
And excellent acting Julie! You definitely helped make this one my favorite!
    Good job babe!

Nice film, kept me interested right up to the end, although I did struggle a bit in the middle when she started explaining all the Einstein stuff. It could probably do with less information there.

    Great work!

just watched it on the big screen, enjoyed it thoroughly. nice music! I didn't know you played piano. Also, dude, you always find the coolest places to film, that open field was awesome! Was definitely cool to see what imagery you were going for after reading the script. Nice job!

on a side note: i did notice a few red frames in there, not sure if it was just me, but thought you might want to know.

Yeah, for some reason premiere puts them in I guess if it drops a frame for some reason. Because My computer lags the video preview the whole time in premiere I don't see the red frames until after I render and upload to vimeo. Kinda sucks.

Love the perfectly timed sequence from street to home. You made it look so easy! And dude... Spielberg would have to kow tow to you, I doubt he'd be able to play the piano and direct at the same time. If you keep doing this Tony, I'm sure we'd be seeing you in the silverscreen. Hats off to you, again. ;)

Q: Did you lay the piano track 'live' with the video running ala Disney style? It sound seamless.

Hey Thanks everybody! In regards to rastAsia

A: No, I didn't I'm not as talented as Randy Newman! ha! but seriously I just took a microphone into a soundproof piano room at school and sat and improved stuff for about 3 hours, thats about it! I knew kind of how I wanted it to flow in my head so I just played some stuff I knew would work with each little sequence.

  • Liked the concept, but I'm not sure I got your verisimilitude. Also, some great compositions in the photography [especially the opening shot], I just wanted you to hold your takes more in the edit though.
