See all Show me
Just over a month ago, before leaving the beautiful shores of Cape town, I collaborated with No standing Recycling and The Western province bodyboarding association, to shoot a campaign in order to create more awareness, about how plastic bottles left on our beaches effect’s our ocean and the people who love it most. Jared Housten features in this video to give his own take on how he feels about the importance of recycling and keeping our beaches clean.

    Awesome!
I'm pissed that this video is described as Jarred Houston goes green or that he's a hippy on Australian Bodyboarding sites. This is hardly extreme behaviour. It's simple recycling and everyone should do. Bodyboarders who litter their beaches should be ashamed.

    Hey Ivan

Stoked you enjoyed the video;) I collaborated with a friend of mine who owns recycling company in South Africa. We grew up bodyboarding together so we both like pushing the sport we love in our work!! Recycling and the mess left on our beaches is a big concern and this is something that needs to be changed. I hope that my art can help promote the message that Warren Baynes, from No standing recycling is trying to spread;))

One day I will visit portugal and we must go for a surf!!
