Ritva Koistinen is one of the leading Kantele artists. She has started her performing career already in early age. Ritva is a founder of Sibelius Academy art kantele teaching and she works as a main master of Kantele in Sibelius Academy Piano department. She was invited to start art kantele teaching in Siba 1987 so she has been creating highest level of finnish kantele teaching more than 20 years. She has been mostly concentrating to increase the level of teaching and kantele musicians. She has published 3 CD:s, The Tradition of Kantele vol.3 - New Era 1993; From The Eastern Lands 1998; Hiljaisin Hetkin 2008
