I had the pleasure of creating the open for S Media's show/website content called Ski Television.
The core idea branched from the other side of their branding - S Magazine.
They made my life easy by providing some already solid graphic elements and designs that I could use and integrate into the open animation.
We also had some awesome added help from our sister company in Mexico, Don Porfirio (donporfirio.tv), who helped bang out the sexy giant S logo at the end!
With that part in place, they provided some amazing footage which I composited right on top of and tracked a lot of simple elements to seem as thought they were a part of the scene. I didn't want to take away from the beautiful visuals that were naturally there, so I tried to keep it as simple as possible and keep a "magazine" look and feel to the whole thing, while still keeping fluid motion throughout.
