EuroChallenge Qualifying Round 1
Amak SP Basketball players in their first match in the Qualifying Round 1 of the EuroCup/EuroChallenge 2009 at home didn’t succeed to conquer their Slovenian opponent Zlatorog Lasko.
Ales Pipan Selected players, thanks to their better performance under the basket won the match with a six point difference 70 – 76.
The home team had an excellent start achieving five point difference 5 – 0 which they kept until the end of the first quarter, five minutes before the end of the first half Amak Sp had a 6 point lead , but they couldn’t keep it till the end of the first half 35 – 35.
Amak Sp’s bad start in the next Half and Zaltorog’s player Nejc Strnad 2 successful shots for three points led to result lead of 44-52.
The guest team Dominated under the basket four minutes before the end when Amak SP’s player Slobodan Agoc with 5 fouls left the court
Ohrid’s basketball players in the last minutes of the game couldn’t realize their 3 point shot and were unable to do lot more.
