Amidio is 9 and in a wheelchair. He only feels truly free and happy when he's in the sea. He's entirely dependent on single mother, Benita, who ensures he swims daily - when he's happy, she's happy. However, when Benita discovers she is terminally ill, she's left with a tough choice, the only care option for Amidio is her cousin...who lives in landlocked Madrid.

Amidio tiene 9 años y va en silla de ruedas. Solo se siente enteramente feliz y libre cuando nada en el mar. Depende totalmente de Benita, madre soltera, quien lleva cada día a Amidio a nadar. Si el niño es feliz, ella es feliz.

Cuando Benita descubre que tiene una enfermedad terminal, debe tomar una difícil decisión. La única persona que puede cuidar a Amidio es su primo...que vive en Madrid.
