Carrick met Mr. Gettridge five days after he returned to New Orleans. Years later he would be known to Comedy Relief audiences & Billy Crystal. Carrick worked with Frontline producer, June Cross, on her film that portrayed the Gettridge Family in "The Old Man and the Storm." This clip is from a short Carrick produced in February of 2006 shortly after meeting Mr. Gettridge. It has screened at several festivals, most recently at the Harlem Film Festival.
