In 1932, in the height of the Great Depression, over 30,000 veterans and their families traveled to Washington D.C. to lobby for early payment of a bonus due to them for service in World War I. They were driven out of the city by the U.S. Army, but their efforts forever changed the way America treats its veterans. This is my thesis film for an MFA degree at the University of Miami.
