* 1980 Late Model Sportsman division champion, which is now the Nationwide Series.
* Morgan is the second-oldest driver to win in the Cup Series at the age of 51 years, 4 months, and 27 days in 1993 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
* Currently owns and operates the No. 89 Victory In Jesus team. It is the first race team in Cup to have a ministry focus and is currently competing in Nationwide.
* Celebrating the 24th anniversary of the Morgan Shepherd Charitable Fund -- the oldest NASCAR driver charitable organization to date.
* One of only two NASCAR drivers to receive a "Timmy" Award from the Touchdown Club of Washington, D.C. (Richard Petty is the other).
* Will be inducted into the Daytona Hall of Fame during Speedweeks on Feb. 14, 2011.
