A discussion on Journalistic coverage in the Middle East.
The panelists include:
Sally Buzbee: She is the Washington bureau chief for the Associated Press and a 1988 J-School graduate. Previously she was the deputy managing editor for the AP News Center, and before that was the AP’s Middle East editor, based in Cairo, Egypt. She has been with the AP since 1988.
Prof. John Cary: He is a retired military officer who is a Middle East specialist on the faculty at the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College at Ft. Leavenworth, Kan. His son is a Foreign Service officer serving at the U.S. Embassy in Pakistan.
John Montgomery: He is publisher and editor of the Hutchinson News in Hutchinson, Kan.
Will Stebbins: He is the former chief of bureau for the Americas for Al Jazeera English. He was hired from the Associated Press at the inception of Al Jazeera English.
