D. Lang recorded a series of interviews with Grey, Jason Harbour, and Jerry Patterson in 2002. These interviews then became the audio track for an experimental music documentary, featuring effects-laden footage from prior music video and studio footage.
The project won first place for the Educational category at the 2003 PEGASYS Videofest.
Grey: The Interviews is a visual collage containing original band photos from the collections of D. Lang and Grey as well as excerpt footage from "Grey: The Rock & Pop Sessions" (2002), "Acoustic Grey" (2002) and "Introducing Grey" (2001), and behind the scenes footage from "All the Love in the World" and "This is the Time, This is the Place" music video shoots.
Also includes a different version of the This is the Time, This is the Place music video featuring the old Enid drive-in theatre, and "A song about Jason." Appearing in the film are Grey, Steve Harwood, Zane Davis, Jason Harbour, Mikey Harbour, Jerry Patterson, Timothy Lang, Diana Lang, "major tom," and "moustache."
The project is presented here in its entirety for your viewing pleasure. Recommended that you watch and listen, but you can navigate away and listen to the interviews, or watch it with the sound down to enjoy the visuals. It's meant to be enjoyable either way. :)
The web URLs mentioned in the film are no longer in service. Jerry passed away from cancer in 2005, and his studio faded into the past.

Please support local non-profit public access stations by volunteering. PEGASYS was my station and their support of my art opened up a whole new world to me back when I was just a young 18 year old kid with no experience, filming a documentary TV series to help out my favorite local band during their time in a recording studio.
