Allan Tweddle, businessman and environmentalist, tactfully urges attendees of the National Research Center for Coal and Energy to reconsider the practice of using coal for energy, pointing out that solar voltaics will soon be as inexpensive to produce. He suggests that West Virginia will face an economic crisis if it continues to think of coal as its source for energy. He points at the advancements that other countries such as Germany, Spain and South Africa are making at this time.
