The Bowdoin College Museum of Art was the hottest venue in Maine Thursday night (February 17), as art lovers from as far away as London gathered for the opening of a groundbreaking exhibition of Medieval alabaster sculptures. "Object of Devotion: Medieval Alabaster Sculpture from the Victoria and Albert Museum" is one of three new related exhibitions at the recently renovated Museum. It runs through May 15 and is open to the public free of charge. For more information: bowdoin.edu/news/archives/1academicnews/008214.shtml
