It's getting so bad on Lower Greenville that you need a helmet just to go into the bars.

Last week, a DPD officer was hit in back of the head by a beer bottle while trying to subdue a drunk patron.

This weekend, a patron was cut on the side of the head with a pocket knife - don't ask us why - while standing in a bar.

We've got the right-after-the-incident video here. But it was hard to get a direct shot (pardon the pun) of the victim before she was put in the ambulance.

Our favorite part of the tape - when the victim's best friend decided she did not think cameras were needed and tried to slap the videographer. Thankfully, the DPD cops grabbed her before the stun gun was turned on.
