I purchased a Tokina 28-70 f2.8 AT-X PRO SV Canon mount from ebay and my first impression is it's a nice lens for around $300.00. Did a little testing in the backyard with the Panasonic AF-100 and Kipon EOS m4/3 adapter. The Kipon works really well with this lens at f2.8. Not so good on f4 L glass unfortunately. It's also a little loose on the AF-100 but I can live with that. Test footage is all at f2.8 in various focal lengths. The lens is pretty sharp and corners look good. I recently purchased the PRO I version which is also the most sought after since it's the version that's based on the Angenieux optical formula. I will post a new video with it when I receive the lens.
UPDATED. Promo shoot with talent. This part was color corrected with 3-way in FCP.
