So, I realized that I've never actually done a chroma key in all the years I've been making videos.

To remedy that, I was going to have my friend dress up in a gas mask and suit (something akin to the DC classic Sandman character) and get some footage.

The problem was I didn't have a gasmask and couldn't get one quick enough to meet his schedule. We ended up shooting some generic "action" scenes of him with a scarf instead. It ended up looking more like "The Shadow" than "The Sandman" I guess.

I always loved the DVD menu for Sin City and decided to give him a noir/comic treatment. So, here's the result of my first chroma key.

For being shot in my living room on terribly wrinkled strips of cheap green fabric I'm kinda pleased with it.
