It's these moments in our lives that define us as human beings, as people, as artists, as doctors, teachers, graphic designers, bus drivers, grocery clerks, people that make up this crazy cauldron of sometimes insane reality. These are the struggles a parent goes through watching their child experiment, investigate, grow spiritually, ethically, emotionally. And it can be such a ride. Working with your children to learn through their experiences. That's what I love about this piece most. What a wonderful portrayal of that journey.

I think the thing I loved most about this piece is the harmony of imagery and sound, which you are a MASTER at! Your layering of content to produce emotion, tell a story, is just masterful. Even simple things like the touch of lighting in certain shots, just enough to give the kiss of flavor. I'm REALLY REALLY interested in seeing your hand in a narrative, as I think THAT'S really the next step for you and your team, AND I honestly believe the most challenging. You've definitely mastered this venue, so seeing where this takes you is what I crave most. And I will follow, because I trust your artistic judgment.

Eliot and team, I am forever a fan. Fantastic piece! BRAVO! 5 out of 5 Stars as usual. :-)

Eliot, after meeting you and learning about your history in the industry... that you have chosen instead to make videos like these - unglamorous, provocative, and thoughtful - demonstrates a deeper appreciation for humanity, and a profound sense of purpose as an artist and storyteller.

I'm really excited by you and your work. I'm especially excited by the new context you are creating for yourself and the rest of us. The Internet.

It seems to me to be ironic, isn't it?
Spending hour shopping for the perfect shoes? Unique charm... funny vacations?
    great team?
"Everithyng you did was perfetct for my eyes".

For me is very difficult loyal being to a similar imaginary.

I'm very sorry, i can understand the issue but i miss something in that story. I don't even see the drama, from a vacuum to another.

(maybe my english is not so good).

This family obviously has some major issues that the mother is suppressing and is unable to face even herself. So the daughter is going it alone. That's how the new generation takes on challenges and emotions which seem outrageous to the old.

    Two things I liked:

-The DSLR in the mirror startled me. I like it - postmodern production and all that.

-It's another example of taking on the hard stuff in life, rather than the fun stuff, or the stuff that makes money. Great work.

.........you have no idea the ability you and this piece have of getting in deep. very deep. My mom is gone, but you made this so i could reverse the order and, I only wish she were here now, so I could say these things you so eloquently said, to her. A regret in me has been awakened, you see there was a role reversal between my Mom and myself. I would loved to have said these things to her.
Thanks. My imagination has had the discussion.

I relly loved this video, it amazing... it really made me think how i take my live and that i was wrong. it make me feel so luky to have a mother who really worries for me and i'm in the good way now. I was going to be a person with a complicated life and I don't know how would have ended with bad company and getting drunk so young...
life has given me another chance and the situation is changing so much in my family and my life in general.
THANK YOUU!! I'll do it better now =)
