So, fredjc (fredjc.com) and I have done many projects together and our newest effort happens to be the HARD HAUNTED MANSION DJ/Artist list. Our idea was vaguely inspired by Flight404's Crow processing work.

We want to make a particle system of these moths shown above and set them to each few pixels of written text (in image form) so that when a new artist comes up we switch to this sketch and on the click of a mouse the swarm tightens revealing the artist's name.

So far we've just been working on the particle system itself and we're getting to a point of something that we like. This uses the Traer physics system and has a striking resemblance to moths gathering around a light.
