This is the culmination of the transformation of Ross Roy Communications into InterOne Marketing Group. This historic video was presented to the agency employees at the agency's headquarters in Bloomfield Hills, MI in December of 1999. For the many employees who contributed to the successful transformation of one of Detroit's largest and most respected agencies... it will forever remain a signal career moment.
This process evolved over four years and demonstrated how a long time merchandising & communications agency could rally around the vision and business strategy of Customer Relationship Management. Tim Copacia, then President & CEO, along with his management team spearheaded this historical transition and were pioneers in CRM within the industry.
At the time of this announcement the agency had over 1300 employees in the US, Canada, Mexico City and in 30 satellite offices around the world. Agency revenues were over $120 million.
The agency was positioned as "The Customer Relationship Management Agency" and was poised to become a dominant player in the market. Unfortunately the decision to consolidate all advertising and marketing services within Pentamark (BBDO Detroit) and eliminate the InterOne identity led to the eventual demise of a great agency.
