Two days of footage (Feb 18-19) from Madison, WI protest against the SB11 "budget repair bill." Thanks to Michael-Bryan Byers-Dent for the song inspiration.

You can see all the amazing emails I've been receiving from people all over the country here: mgwisni.posterous.com/

And another fab video. Your choices of music are great. (2 of my fave bands!) Love how the banjo kicks in right when it cuts to some drumming in the video. Keep up the inspiration!

I came across both videos today and I have to say they've captured the very feel of the protests. I've shared them with everyone I know. Thank you so much for reminding me as to why we *need* to keep up hope!

Matt, I've been watching your videos and spreading them around for a few days, but I finally just had to create an account to say Thank you so much! My crappy camera video is just a bit too fuzzy and the quality of this really helps people see just how beautiful it is! Thank you for coming out every day to capture the protests... Hopefully I'll see you down there this week!

Truly great work Matt. We're using your video and the other related video to educate our members, to organize, and to take more involved direct action. IBEW 21 members are already there, more are on the way, plus our International IBEW Union President Ed Hill also on Tuesday.

Nice work man, keep up the good work. People, especially nowadays, need to know what is happening in Madison before unions become a thing of the past.

I also really enjoyed your other works, you have a gift for cinematography.

Refreshing to see talents such as yours.

I left a comment on the other video too, I am an art teacher in WI and this is a great creative way to capture the essence of what has been going on. I loved being there on Saturday. Felt energized and inspired. We must stay strong, the big boys (Koch Brothers) are going to come to Madison and try to railroad this whole thing. Stay strong...SOLIDARITY!

So beautiful and so stirring. I'm actually a little ambivalent about unions, personally. Seems like a good deal if you're in one, but most people are not, especially in the private sector. But now the gap between rich and poor is yawning so wide I will root for any countervailing force!

And I love that energy and that passion. Please keep it up, Wisconsin. Why should the Tea Party people have all the fun!
