Rev. Henoch Hammer, of Blessed Memory, was the Cantor of Congregation Kneseth Israel, Annapolis, MD unitil the early 1980s. These two clips were part of a wedding video I made for Rabbi Sam and Gail Rosenberg on Dec. 1, 1985, at Congregation Shaarei Zion in Baltimore. The first clip shows him giving one of the Seven Blessings, and the second shows him as part of the men's Hora dancing circle. Rabbi Sam and Gail are seated in the center. Also in the circle is Cantor Zev Goldfischer who took over when Rev. Hammer becaome "Cantor Emeritus." Rabbi Rosenberg was appointed as congregation Rabbi when Rabbi Morris Rosenberg (of Blessed Memory) also was designated as Emeritus, but Rosenberg's contract was not renewed.

I originated this with a Panasonic S1 Single Tube camera and JVC pro VHS recorder. This clip was taken from a Betamax archive and encoded with Vegas 6.
