Julie Morel est une artiste numérique du collectif Incident. Lors d'une période de préfiguration en 2003 et 2004, la Ville de Paris a ouvert pendant quelques mois les portes de la Gaîté lyrique aux Arts Numériques. Pour le site Internet créé à cette occasion, Julie Morel a dessiné le bâtiment tel qu'elle l' a découvert, abandonné depuis la fermeture du parc d'attraction Planète Magique. Elle se rappelle d'un lieu aussi bizarre que vivant et éphémère.

Julie Morel is a digital artist of the Incident group. During the period of foreshadowing in 2003 and 2004, the City of Paris opened the doors of la Gaîté lyrique for some months to the digital arts. For the website created for the occasion, Julie Morel made a sketch of the building as she first saw it: abandoned since the closure of the Planète Magique amusement park. She has memories of a place which was as bizarre as it was alive and ephemeral.
