Parallax is a narrative dance interpretation of the emotional turmoil that can be raging behind the eyes of a performer. Our viewer hears the beautiful voice of our character and progresses closer and closer to see the dynamic emotions that go unnoticed by her audience. As the intensity of her vocals builds it is matched by the introduction of an aggressive soundtrack, thus revealing her internal conflict. As the two sides of our character meet, the relationship between her emotions on stage and the emotions within manifests as dance.
