Greenbrier Ridge Construction Time Lapse
Here is the final video from the time-lapse project I started working on in March 2008. They finished construction in December of 2008.
The video was shot with a time-lapse package from Harbortronics, edited with Sony Vegas Pro 8.0, and the music is StackTraxx from Digital Juice.
The camera took 25,406 still photos. This video contains 2,375 of the still photos lasting for 2 frames each. The first image was taken on March 6, 2008 and the last on Christmas day. I've had a lot of fun making this but it does get tedious when going through all the photos to decide which ones move the story along and which ones need to go away. I looked at and discarded over 23,000 pictures. There are some things I can do to make my life easier next time - I can set the schedule so no weekends are captured and I can also have it only record during the day time.
