A special thanks to reporter Meghan McCorkell and WSYX/ABC 6 of Central Ohio for sharing this video with us.
Meghan and photographer Jay Novotny travelled to Haiti with Lifeline to experience the joys and sorrows of life one year after the devastating earthquake struck Haiti. They shadowed Bob, Gretchen and work team members through five days of mission activity, and in the villages where Lifeline ministers. They interviewed Haitian individuals and families who openly shared their suffering and experiences. Meghan and Jay also learned first-hand from Haitian staff, youth and former students how their lives have been impacted by Christ over the past 30 years since Lifeline first began in Grand Goave, Haiti. As they met and interviewed many Haitians, they became aware of the richness of the Haitian culture and how a people so plagued with poverty and loss are resilient and never give up hope.
