Healing Turtle Island was an Event of Cultural Reconciliation between the Collegiate Church and the Lenape Indians.
Filmworks created the entire graphical look for the event, designing the logo and the large printed banner that served as a backdrop to the proceedings. There were postcards and posters, and tickets and flyers and bulletin inserts. All designed and printed with our direction. Thanks to the tireless efforts of our staff, the permits were secured, the stage was driven in at 4:30 am, we had porta-pottys and extra garbage cans, a media tent and camera platforms. But one thing we can't take credit for is the fact that, despite many reports to the contrary, it didn't rain a drop! For that, we credit Paula Pachonik who did her rain dance the night before!
In addition to producing and staging the event itself, we also coordinated a four-camera shoot to capture the historical ceremony, and produced a DVD of the full program.
This is highlight video that Kierra edited out of the footage we shot.
