Exhibiting as part of Newcastle's Design Event 2008, Firewinder was again invited to participate in the Lighten Up exhibition organised by Re:Design - this time we were showcased in a curated exhibition within the North Tower of the Tyne Bridge. We also installed a Firewinder on the rooftop of the bridge where it can be seen until the end of October, from as far away as the Millennium Bridge some 400 metres away. Amongst the shows opening activities we dressed a bike with a Firewinder and went about spreading the word along the river side.
