D90 HD Test 1
Nikon D90 + Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 AI + Yann Tiersen's "La Valse d'Amélie"
The camera part of the D90 functions like a camera, but I was interested in trying out the video function, especially in its HD glory. The video is far from being perfect, but it's definitely fun! My favorite part? I love that I can manually focus the video to change the depth of field. Next time, I'll make a video using the kit zoom lens.
(By the way, any good video editing software for free? I'm using Windows Movie Maker now, which is fine for putting clips together, but not that great for doing any real editing. And also, I'm not sure why there are extra few seconds before the video starts. It's not like that on the original file on my computer, and it doesn't happen if you click off HD.)
