Host Judi Taggart and Auctioneer P.K. Zyla share information about the 9th Annual Sweetheart Auction on February 8th. The show includes a preview and list of donated items received by mid-January. Thanks to donors and volunteers who are busy working behind the scenes, community supporters will gather for an entertaining evening at Patrick's Pub in Gilford. Plans for a new community event were shared by Tammy Levesque, Community Health Educator, LR Partnership for Public Health, and John Moriarty, Executive Director of the Historic Belknap Mill. Cabin Fever Festival is planned on Friday, February 18th, offering families a historic walking tour and progressive dinner at downtown Laconia restaurants, followed by a "Sock Hop" with dancing to the music of Annie and the Orphans at the Belknap Mill. Buttons for admission are available at the Belknap Mill...only $5 for children and $10 for adults, limited to 300. Viewers were reminded that the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance is again offering free tax preparation services and e-filing by IRS certified volunteers.
