Without a doubt, those folks who know what geocaching is all about and engage in that activity frequently have many tales to tell from their encounters with Mother Nature. But in Alaska, the largest state in the Union, with the largest predators, carnivores and scavengers in the U.S., geocachers must temper their enthusiasm to run and frolic in the woods with a good dose of common sense.
