Today 25 February huge pro- and anti-government demonstrations are expected in Jordan. Last week Friday for the first time protests turned violent. Eight people were reported being treated in hospital. It looks like police aren't taking too many risks today. They were seen patrolling all night. A couple of hundreds policemen already arrived in down town Amman to assure security at the demonstrations starting about 12:15 - 12:30 after Friday prayers at the Husseini Mosque.
