In October 2008 I went to Great Smoky Mountain National Park for a week and shot footage of the fall colors. While the colors were not as vibrant this year due to the drought, the air was much more crisp and dry, creating magnificent vistas from the high points such as Clingman's Dome.
All of the footage in this video was shot on a Panasonic HVX-200 in 24PN mode. Most of the water footage was shot at 60 fps while the timelapse footage of the sun and moon were shot at 12 fps.
