Immigration: Good or bad?
It depends on whom you ask.
Some researchers say unauthorized immigrants steal jobs from Americans, lower wages and cost government billions of dollars, particularly in health and education costs. Others say they take jobs no one else wants, spend their wages in the local economy, boost profits for the companies they work for and pay Social Security and Medicare taxes they’ll never get back.
