On January 27th, 2011, Amir Baradaran infiltrated the Louvre Museum to
permanently install his 52-second performance streaming live over Leonardo da
Vinci’s Mona Lisa painting, and thus the FutARIsm art movement was born.
This is a animation of the FutARism Manifesto in which the philosophy of the movement is eloquently expressed in five parts (markers).
Join the FutARism movement and experience Amir Baradaran’s “Frenchising Mona Lisa” on your smartphone:
1. Download and launch the Junaio application.
2. Type "Frenchising Mona Lisa" and press “search”.
3. Open the " Frenchising Mona Lisa" channel and point your smartphone camera at
an image of the Mona Lisa, whether inside the Louvre or in front of any of its
reproductions anywhere in the world.
