Not sure about Destruction Plug-In. GSG has a link to it here: greyscalegorilla.com/blog/2009/12/shatter-and-destruction/
Also, if you are going for that destruction effect, you might want to try the Xplode plug-in. It costs a few bucks, but I've used it and like it: xplode.valkaari.com/en/xplode.php

Couple of tips for the floating collision: Use a box as the floor, it doesn't have to be thick floor wise just needs some empty space inside for this to work. In the Dynamics Body tag for the box floor, under the "collision" tab, Change the "Size Increment" to a negative # to work against the Hypernurbs shrinkage of the original object.

Are you describing how the shape of the hyper-nurb conceals where the dynamic is actually hitting, as if there was no hyper-nurb turned on? I've re-read your suggestions a few times, I'm not exactly sure what problem your tips are referring to.
Very glad to have input and suggestions, thanks!

PS: I work in C4D nearly everyday for long stretches of time, and I still have so much to learn. I am constantly humbled at the amazing stuff people are making. Please, everyone join me in helping add to the knowledge base of this awesome program.
    Cheers!

You mention at the beginning where the "c" is kind of floating off the ground. You can fix that by playing with the "size increment" setting. Sorry for the confusion.

Right on! I will check that out. Thank you for the clarification.
