Not at all - I think it's mentioned in the vid. Not using soundflower will spare your processor some cycles and get you lower latency. Both are very good in my book. Your soundcard software may also have a loopback function. Plug some outputs into some unused inputs and you should be ready to go. Be mindful of options for input levels though - don't run line into mic calibrated inputs.
