I wanted to capture the weightlessness of the boys in flight, but I didn't want to identify the kids.
So, by finding a vantage point facing the sun, the camera auto compensates for the glare, reducing the figures to silhouettes.
Framing was a trial-and-error affair too, finding a composition that allowed the boys to disappear and re-appear into frame, while also capturing some of their tricks.
The geometry of the angles of the apparatus adds some extra visual interest too, while the tempo of the bouncing varies - as one boy goes up, another goes down, and so on.
