Bottled at source from a hand-pump, in Atal Ayub Nagar, Bhopal, India, and as drunk by the poor families that have no other reliable source of drinking water.
This water is contaminated with toxic chemicals that have leached into the aquifer, after being dumped around the old Union Carbide (now owned by Dow) factory, while it was operational.
This is nothing to do with the 1984 gas disaster, except for having been caused by the same factory, and is acknowledged as an entirely separate disaster by the US courts. But Dow don't seem too interested in cleaning up their mess and Obama doesn't seem that bothered about making them. Now, perhaps if it was BP.
