The International Student Energy Summit (ISES) is a global, multi-disciplinary for students to discuss their role in the transition to a sustainable energy future. ISES targets international, multidisciplinary post secondary students in undergraduate and graduate studies interested in energy. The inaugural ISES was hosted by the University of Calgary in 2009 and attracted 350 students from 30 countries. ISES 2011 will be hosted by the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada June 9-11, 2011 in partnership with the UBC Sustainability Initiative.
