PROJECT SYNOPSIS:
What do personal revelations and adaptations to change look like; lowly crumbling rubble or sleek towering glass?
Rates of Change is a documentary that asks a diverse group of subjects to explore their ability to adapt and respond to changes big, small, personal and global. To frame the discussion, the 35 minute multi-format video uses dynamic scenes of urban transformation and development as a catalyst and aesthetic. This is not a film about gentrification or protest. It is a work that pairs individual subjects who operate in life’s external forces with snapshots of urban surroundings and the waves of change they inhabit.
