Annual Walk for Life. Saturday October 25. CPC major fundraiser on our campus. Registration at 8 AM. Walk at 9 AM. I'm planning to be here. (more info at valleywalkforlife.com)

Harvest Fun Fair. Friday, October 31. A big outreach to our community, with 3,000-4,000 people coming to our campus. We are short of candy and workers. Call Diana at 200-2000 ext. 2275 to offer help, or stop by the Purpose Center on the weekend. (more info at thehangar.org)

Mexico Parking Lot Build. Saturday, November 1. Put together materials to take to Mexico. (more info at southwestcc.org/mexico)

The election Tuesday, November 4. Very important election. A lot at stake. The presidential election. Prop 4—parental notification of a minor, and Prop 8—how we define marriage. As Christians, we have a responsibility to vote in order to inject biblical values into the political process.

Pray for me and the church. These are challenging days and there's a lot at stake. When you think of me, talk to the Lord. I need the Lord's wisdom.
