    So you're saying interlaced vs progressive is better? 1080i vs 720p? I think not - 720p is far smoother and crisper.. maybe someday 1080p will be in the palm of your hand... but until then 720p rocks.

    I don't agree. 1080i 60 fps gives you motion updates 60 times per second. With 720p 30 fps you only experience 30 times per second a motion update.
    Don't forget that at each frame (2 frames = 1 field in i) the world has moved.
    After all these years, almost everything remains confused and in the dark when it comes to interlacing.
