Six pilots scored an awesome late afternoon flight from Kahana Bay to Laie Beach Park (known locally as "Pounders" Beach). It was a great day for everyone, but it was particularly special for our buddy Bill, who received news that day that he has offically won his year long battle with Cancer.

Now that I am a member of Vimeo, I can add a belated comment to this video - wow, it is SO GREAT! And not just because I have a leading role. The picture quality, the production effort, the music, (the acting?) are all top notch - I watch this one when I am missing those tradewind season Kahana XC flights. Mr. Earl, maybe we should start a Hawaii Paragliding channel and link it to our website somehow.

Thanks Shane. Feel free to stop by if you ever see us in the Air - we're friendly guys and love sharing info about the sport. We fly Makapuu and Kahana mostly, but also Lanikai on occasion. Other spots as well, but those are the ones closest to you.

Mahalo! Yes, paragliding is a life changing experience - I highly recommend going on a tandem flight at the very least! (and bring your own camera with you!)

I am using a Canon Vixia HF100 (native 1080p) with a wide angle adapter attached. The camera is attached to my harness using a special bracket that keeps the camera relatively steady.
