A small video taken during a short stay in Granada in Spain.
The video was taken with my faithful camera Sanyo HD1000.
This video was edited with Final Cut Pro, I used Magic Bullet Looks and Colorist.

I have a lot of trouble when using Final Cut to transfer them. I always get a Error that the Media isn´t supportet or the file structure is bad.
Thx!
There is another very useful thing that you must do to avoid reading problems on OS X with 1920x1280 60i from th HD1000 : load and install the avc1Decoder component for os x
I think the Transfer Dialog in FC is very usefull, because it automatically converts into ProRes.
Probably I´ll give it back. I´m looking for a simple solution and don´t want to google all the time ;)
Do you have a tip regarding to the autofocus?
very smooth , nice footages
use any stabilizer ??
I also have the Xacti HD 1000 with the same pbs like others users, autofocus which should be disconnected for manual setting, shaky cam.... but can create sometimes marvelous image.
Im very surprise of the effect of the smoothcam from FCP,i thought you used a tripod.
Sorry for me i only have a windows system;)
I choose a recent pc only because with mac in the recent past there is pbs with the xacti folders and edition and also because i wanted to have magic bullet but i do not have a filter like your smothcam(not in vegas, not in studio ultimate)
I saw you leave in paris and as you can notice I m french, do you speak french,it will be esiar for me.-)
My PC is a from another galaxy it contains both operating systems : Vista and Os X
I could install and boot Os X with a special USB key called EFI-X ... voilà
there are a bunch of extensions and drivers for Os X to allow it to use the Xacti file format with no problem, I will put a link a little later.
for all with af-problems: use the short cut button for setting and unsetting the af before or during the shooting, helps a lot.
I didn't use a tripod, but I used the Final cut pro plugin Smoothcam to take off the shake effect from lightweigth camera like the HD1000
