Cape May Seashore Lines Santa Express trains recorded in December 2000. Features ex PRSL Budd RDC cars M407 and M410. Both units were used on this line starting in 1951. Originally owned by the Pennsylvania Reading Seashore Line, a subsidiary of the Pennsylvania Railroad and Reading Railroad. The Santa Express trains in the video were operating between Cape May, NJ and Cape May Court House, NJ. The movable Canal bridge dates to 1942 and was installed before the channel was excavated. This allowed trains to operate into Cape May during wartime without disruption. These tracks are operated by CMSL and owned by NJ Transit. The line continues north through Tuckahoe, NJ and joins the Atlantic City main at Winslow Junction near Hammonton, NJ.
