Adrian Mitchell reads his poem 'To Whom It May Concern (Tell me lies about Vietnam)' from the DVD-book IN PERSON: 30 POETS, filmed by Pamela Robertson-Pearce & edited by Neil Astley (Bloodaxe Books, 2008). We filmed Adrian Mitchell at his home in London in January 2008. He first read 'To Whom It May Concern' at an anti-Vietnam War protest in Trafalgar Square in 1964, and kept changing the last verse. This version is what he called the 21st century remix, and appears in his new collection, TELL ME LIES, to be published by Bloodaxe Books in June 2009. Adrian died in December 2008. We have just posted a tribute film of him reading three other poems on video: search by his name or go to 2583888.
