Thursday the 4th of december 2008 the news reached me that Kery has died. I will try to find out the exact circumstances.
In honour of KERY this video is now dedicated to all suffering orangutans, whereever they are.
I will never forget him !

Kery is rescued by COP (Centre for Orangutan Protection) by the end of June 2008 in West-Kalimantan. A family had bought him from the man who had killed his mother. Kery was chained for 6 month, before the people from COP rescued him and brought him to Nyaru Menteng, the rescue- and rehabilitationcenter from the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation.
