We are so proud to finally post our short film on Pediatric Diabetes. This project was initiated in the fall of 2010 and we donated many hours to the filming and production of this important piece. Being parents of a child with Type 1 Diabetes we felt it was important to create an educational video to inform and give hope to families with newly diagnosed children. We worked closely with Dr. Karen McAssey, a Pediatric Endocrinologist, and her amazing team in the Pediatric Diabetes Clinic at McMaster Children's Hospital to write the script. We then asked 3 families to participate and they all did a fantastic job! We feel this video will help so many families and anyone helping to support children living with type 1 Diabetes.
