Teresa Ulloa Ziáurriz, Masters degree in Education Sciences from the London School of Education at the University of London, England. She is a graduate of the Law School at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. In 1997 she studied for a certificate in “Women’s Human Rights and Development” in Brussels, Belgium, with funding from the European Economic Union and the International Federation of Human Rights. She was candidate for the 2005 Nobel Peace Prize within the 1,000 Women for Peace Project and was honored with the Abellly Award for the Life and Security of Women, for the rescue of two little twins US citizens in Mexico. She has rescued more than 650 women and children from internal and international trafficking with sexual exploitation purposes.
